A view of the eastern coastline along North Island,
New Zealand. Taken from our balcony, Golden Princess.
A rest day today in preparation for the next three
days. These forthcoming days are shore visits with demanding tours at each
port. We attended a table napkin folding lesson today…so look out we know to
arrange table napkins to look like a rose, candle, bird-of-paradise or possibly
a bundled mess. Probably more of the later than the former shapes. After dinner
we had a trivia night and as usual did okay with our American friends as a team
but not good enough to beat the seasoned Americans who are experts at this
activity. The journey today followed the eastern coastline of New Zealand - the
first time of our journey to follow a coastline. We glad we chose the starboard
side as landfall is viewed from our balcony. Tomorrow we are in Wellington. We
cancelled out on AM tour that would have taken us to the Lord of The Ring film
setting. In lieu we will head into the city and try our luck with the internet
to update our blog. If we don’t have much luck we will walk around the city. In
the PM hours we have a City Tour which will complete our Wellington visit. So
cheers.
