We did the southern section of Yellowstone Park today. The weather was overcast but did not spoil the beauty of the park. Out of ten Yellowstone is a 9.5 and a must see when in this area. We headed easterly direct to Yellowstone Falls located in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and would you believe we did the seven total viewpoints overlooking the canyon and falls. Uncle Toms Trail was a exhaustive 365 step descent and a ascent back to reach the excellent vantage point. Overall it was memorable experience. After the Canyon area visit we continued south to Yellowstone Lake and had lunch beside the water. There were signs everywhere that bears constantly visit this area but alas no furry beasts were seen only bisons. It's a pity that Meng and Choon have not seen a bear in the wild as yet as it is a great experience. From Lake Yellowstone we visited the many geysers around the Upper, Midway and Lower geyser basins. Returned back to West Yellowstone town at 4:30 pm, refuelled Bertha and prepared for the journey to Salt Lake City tomorrow, sorted our bags out and ready to leave the cold climate for the desert area of Utah and Arizona. An early start tomorrow it will be light clothes and a long journey. Until then cheers.
